Ulrika Rasmuson

Ulrika started her professional career at the Swedish Environment Protection Agency where she worked for 10 years. Her later experience as a manager at the County Administration in Stockholm, from 1987 to 1991, led to her appointment as Secretary-General of the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation, the largest environmental NGO in Europe, with more than 200,000 members, 5,000 volunteers and 80 employees.

In 1999 Ulrika and three partners founded Riddarfjärden Ledarskap och Utveckling AB, a company focusing on leadership development. Riddarfjärden is one of the leading management consulting companies in Sweden with a focus on leadership and has developed the Action Learning methodology which research demonstrates gives excellent results for both the exercise of leadership and for leadership development. Ulrika has 15 years’ experience carrying out leadership programmes at both strategic and operational levels, both in private enterprise and public authorities. Ulrika also works in developing senior management teams.

Ulrika brings board experience to all her work. She is or has been on the boards of the Swedish Environment Protection Agency, the Museum for Natural History and the World Wildlife Fund in Sweden, where she still is active. She is also Chair of the board of Riddarfjärden Ledarskap och Utveckling AB.

I first met Ulrika on the Electrolux International Leader project. We have been partners on this programme for more than 10 years, developing the leadership skills of over 500 senior executives from all over the world. Ulrika has also designed other programmes for Electrolux, including The Electrolux Leader, and has trained trainers from Asia, North and South America, Australia and Europe. More than 1,500 managers in Electrolux have done the training.

Ulrika holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering, did her coaching education at St Lukas Stockholm and is licensed to use Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), Interpersonal Dynamics Inventory (IDI), Leadership Effectiveness Analysis (LEA), Management Research Group
