ConsultancyDouglas will firstly maintain an interview with the CEO to get a clear understanding of the company strategy and his or her view on the organisational culture.

He will then carry out 20 interviews with employees from different levels of the company. In these interviews Douglas will follow a structured process that will identify the organisational culture, the prevalent leadership style in the organisation and the level of understanding of the business strategy and what actions are required to implement it.


Presentation to the Senior Management TeamDouglas will then write a report based on the interviews and present the findings to the Senior Management Team in a one-hour presentation. This presentation will include:

  • The level of understanding of the business strategy throughout the organisation.
  • A picture of the company culture and how it is assisting or hindering the strategy.
  • The existing leadership style and how it is assisting or hindering the strategy.
  • Recommendations for adapting the culture and leadership style to better support the business.


Four Hour Team Alignment Session

Prior to the session Douglas will carry out a team assessment. During that session the team will use that assessment plus a series of activities to improve team alignment and get clarity on how, as a team, the group can better support the business.


Report with Recommendations for Continued Improvement

Following the session with the Senior Management Team, Douglas will elaborate a report with recommendations for continued improvement for the team. The report will include specific actions that can be undertaken at a team and individual level  to achieve that improvement.


Three One-Hour Follow-Up Coaching Sessions with the CEO

During the six weeks following the intervention Douglas will carry out three coaching sessions aimed at supporting the CEO as he or she oversees the changes that they have agreed to carry out.
